90 m² artificial grass installation in Newton Heath
A 90 square metre garden installation, completed in two days with 40mm child- and pet-friendly Supreme artificial grass.
The project
G.W Artificial Grass LTD installed 90 m² of artificial grass in Newton Heath, Manchester. This project combined a hand dig with substantial ground preparation before fitting the finished surface.
Ground preparation
The area was dug out by hand. The installation used 9 tonnes of MOT stone and 3 tonnes of grit sand for the prepared base. These quantities relate to this specific job; the materials needed for another garden depend on its size, ground conditions and access.
Grass and finish
The chosen product was 40mm child- and pet-friendly Supreme artificial grass. The full installation was completed in two days.
The result
The customer received a finished artificial lawn for family and pet use, with less routine lawn maintenance. Artificial grass still needs brushing and cleaning, particularly in gardens used by dogs.
